On a lighter note (compared to my last post), new episodes of The Price Is Right started airing last week. This season is its 50th and to mark the occasion (at least in my mind any way), they’ve brought back a live audience.
I’ll just say that it is soooooooo good to see a live, but limited audience on this show again.
However, my only gripe is that with as many people in the studio now, I think whomever is editing the show needs to lay off the additional canned audience track. It’s so obvious that they’re putting in canned crowd noise that it’s a bit off-putting.
Let’s Make A Deal hasn’t felt the need to do that (at least not that I’ve noticed) and it sounds great as it is. Perhaps the TPIR team can learn from the LMAD team and just let their audience do its thing.
In a kind of unrelated side note….
If you are feeling unloved … Go watch The Price Is Right to the very end every day. *SPOILER ALERT* Drew Carey will tell you he loves you at the end of the show. If nobody on this Earth loves you, just know that somebody out there does, and that somebody is Drew Carey.
